കുടകിൽ മലയാളിയായ തോട്ടം ഉടമയെ കഴുത്തറുത്ത് കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയ നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തി കണ്ണൂരിലെ കൊയിലി ആശുപത്രി ഉടമയായിരുന്ന പരേതനായ കൊയ്ലി ഭാസ്കരന്റെ മകൻ പ്രദീപിനെയാണ് കഴുത്തറുത്തു കൊന്ന നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.
വീരാജ്പേട്ട താലൂക്കിലെ ബി ഷെട്ടിഗേരിയിൽ പ്രദീപന്റെ പേരിലുള്ള തോട്ടത്തിലുള്ള വീട്ടിൽ ഇന്നലെ വൈകീട്ട് ആണ് മൃതദേഹം കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ഗോണിക്കുപ്പ പോലീസ് സ്ഥലത്തത്തി മൃതദേഹം ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. പ്രദീപിന് ഇവിടെ 32 ഏക്കറിലധികം കാപ്പിത്തോട്ടമുണ്ട്. ഇത് വിൽപ്പന നടത്താനുള്ള ശ്രമം നടന്നു വരുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.

A plantation owner from Kerala was found murdered in Kodagu with his throat slit. The deceased has been identified as Pradeep, son of the late Koyili Bhaskaran, who was the owner of Koyili Hospital in Kannur. The body was discovered yesterday evening at Pradeep’s residence located within his estate in B. Shettigeri, Virajpet Taluk. Gonikoppal police reached the scene and shifted the body to the hospital.Pradeep owned over 32 acres of coffee plantation in the area. He was reportedly in the process of selling the estate when he was found dead under suspicious circumstances.
