ഒന്‍പത് മാസമായി ബഹിരാകാശത്ത് തുടരുന്ന സുനിത വില്യംസും ബുഷ് വില്‍മോറും ഭൂമിയിലെത്താന്‍ ഇനി മൂന്ന് ദിവസം മാത്രമെന്ന് നാസ. ബുധനാഴ്ച പുലര്‍ച്ചയോടെ ഇരുവരെയും സുരക്ഷിതമായി ഭൂമിയിലെത്തിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുമെന്നാണ് നാസയുടെ പ്രതീക്ഷ. സ്പേസ്എക്സിന്റെ ക്രൂ–10 ദൗത്യത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായ ക്രൂ ഡ്രാഗണ്‍  രാജ്യാന്തര ബഹിരാകാശ നിലയത്തില്‍ ഡോക്കിങ് പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കി.

      രാവിലെ ഒന്‍പതരയോടെയാണ് പേടകം വിജയകരമായി ഡോക്കിങ് പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയത്. പിന്നീട് ഹാച്ചിങിന് ശേഷം ക്രൂ–10 ദൗത്യസംഘം ബഹിരാകാശനിലയത്തില്‍ കടന്നു. നാസയുടെ ആനി മക്ലെയ്ഴ്സ്,നിക്കോള്‍ അയേഴ്സ്, ജപ്പാന്റെ തകുയ ഒനിഷി, റഷ്യയുടെ കിറില്‍ പെസ്കോവ് എന്നിവരെ സുനിതയും വില്‍മോറും സ്വീകരിച്ചു. സുഹൃത്തുക്കളെ കാണാനായതിലെ സന്തോഷവും സുനിത പങ്കുവച്ചു.
