മലപ്പുറം പെരിന്തൽമണ്ണ പി.ടി.എം സ്കൂളിൽ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ തമ്മിലുണ്ടായ സംഘർഷത്തിൽ മൂന്ന് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് കുത്തേറ്റു. ഇംഗ്ലിഷ്, മലയാളം മീഡിയം വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ തമ്മിലുള്ള തർക്കമാണ് സംഘർഷത്തിൽ കലാശിച്ചത്. വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളുടെ തലയ്ക്കാണ് പരുക്കേറ്റത്. ഇവരെ ആദ്യം പെരിന്തൽമണ്ണയിലെ ജില്ലാ ആശുപത്രിയിലാണ് പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്. പിന്നാലെ മഞ്ചേരി മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജിലെ ഐ.സി.യുവിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. 

ഒരു വിദ്യാര്‍ഥിയാണ് മൂന്ന് പേരെയും ആക്രമിച്ചത്. നേരത്തെയും ഈ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥിക്കെതിരെ സ്കൂള്‍ അധികൃതര്‍ നടപടി എടുത്തിരുന്നു. അതിന് ശേഷം പരീക്ഷ എഴുതാന്‍ വന്നപ്പോഴാണ് മുന്‍ വൈരാഗ്യത്തിന്റെ പേരില്‍ മൂന്ന് വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളെ ആക്രമിച്ചത്.

The victims were initially admitted to the Perinthalmanna district hospital and later shifted to the ICU at Manjeri Medical College. The attacker had a history of previous issues with the school, and the incident occurred as a result of past grudges.
