A symbolic temple entry protest took place at the Rayaramangalam Bhagavathi Temple in Pilicode, Kasaragod. Traditionally, on certain auspicious days, entry to the Nalambalam (inner courtyard) was restricted to select caste groups such as Namboothiri, Warrier, and Marar. Challenging this caste-based custom, around 30 individuals, led by the men's self-help group 'Ninav,' entered the Nalambalam, marking a stand for social equality and temple access for all.
