കൊല്ലം കരുനാഗപ്പള്ളി ആദിനാട് വടക്ക് തീകൊളുത്തി ആത്മഹത്യയ്ക്ക് ശ്രമിച്ച അമ്മയും മക്കളും മരിച്ചു. താര ജി കൃഷ്ണൻ (35), മക്കളായ അനാമിക (7), ആത്മിക (ഒന്നര) എന്നിവരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. കുടുംബ പ്രശ്നമാണ് ആത്മഹത്യാ ശ്രമത്തിന് കാരണമെന്നാണ് നിഗമനം.

      കാട്ടിൽക്കടവ് സ്വദേശി ഗിരീഷിന്‍റെ ഭാര്യയാണ് താര. പ്രവാസിയായ ഗിരീഷ് വിദേശത്തു നിന്ന് ഇന്ന് നാട്ടിൽ വരാനിരിക്കെയാണ് സംഭവം. താരയും മക്കളും വാടകവീട്ടിൽ ആയിരുന്നു താമസിച്ചിരുന്നത്. കിടപ്പുമുറിയിൽ മണ്ണെണ്ണ ഒഴിച്ച് തീ കൊളുത്തുകയായിരുന്നു എന്നാണ് പ്രാഥമിക വിവരം. ഭർതൃ വീട്ടുകാരുമായി സ്വത്ത് സംബന്ധിച്ച് ചില പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ  ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതായും പൊലീസിന് വിവരം ലഭിച്ചു.

      ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ മൂവരും വണ്ടാനം മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജില്‍ ചികില്‍സയിലിരിക്കെയാണ് മരിച്ചത്. 

      ENGLISH SUMMARY:

      In a tragic incident in Karunagappally, Kollam, a mother and her two young daughters died after attempting suicide by setting themselves on fire. The deceased have been identified as Tara G Krishnan (35), and her children Anamika (7) and Athmika (1.5). Preliminary police reports suggest family disputes, especially related to property, could be the cause. The husband, Girish, a Gulf expatriate, was expected to arrive home on the same day. All three succumbed to severe burn injuries while undergoing treatment at Vandanam Medical College.
