40 റണ്‍സെടുക്കുന്നതിനിടെ 5 മുന്‍നിര ബാറ്റര്‍മാരെ നഷ്ടമായ ബംഗ്ലദേശിനെ ഷാക്കിബും ലിറ്റണ്‍ ദാസും ചേര്‍ന്നാണ് മല്‍സരത്തിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുവന്നത്. ഷാക്കിബ് മുപ്പത്തിരണ്ടും ദാസ് ഇരുപത്തിരണ്ടും റണ്‍സ് നേടി. പിന്നീട് വാലറ്റക്കാരെ കൂട്ടുപിടിച്ച് മെഹ്ദി ഹസന്‍ മിറാസ് നടത്തിയ പോരാട്ടമാണ് സ്കോര്‍ 149 വരെ എത്തിച്ചത്. മെഹ്ദി ഹസന്‍ 27 റണ്‍സോടെ പുറത്താകാതെ നിന്നു. പത്താമനായി ഇറങ്ങിയ തക്സിന്‍ അഹമ്മദും പതിനൊന്നാമനായി ഇറങ്ങിയ നാഹിദ് റാണയും 11 റണ്‍സ് വീതം നേടി.

രാവിലെ 6ന് 339 റണ്‍സ് എന്ന നിലയില്‍ ഒന്നാമിന്നിങ്സ് പുനരാരംഭിച്ച ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്ക് 27 റണ്‍സ് മാത്രമേ കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ക്കാനായുള്ളു. ഇന്നലെ സെഞ്ചറി നേടിയ ആര്‍.അശ്വിന്‍ 113 റണ്‍സെടുത്ത് മടങ്ങി. തക്സിന്‍ അഹമ്മദിനാണ് വിക്കറ്റ്. സെഞ്ചറി പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ച രവീന്ദ്ര ജഡേജയ്ക്ക് ഒരു റണ്‍പോലും എടുക്കാനായില്ല. ആകാശ്ദീപ് സിങ് 17 റണ്‍സുമായി അശ്വിന് നല്ല പിന്തുണ നല്‍കി. ബംഗ്ലദേശിനുവേണ്ടി ഹസന്‍ മഹ്മൂദ് അഞ്ചുവിക്കറ്റ് വീഴ്ത്തി. തക്സിന്‍ അഹമ്മദ് മൂന്നുവിക്കറ്റെടുത്തു. മൂന്നുദിവസം കൂടി ശേഷിക്കേ തോല്‍വി ഒഴിവാക്കാന്‍ ബംഗ്ലദേശിന് നന്നായി വിയര്‍ക്കേണ്ടിവരും.
